What is Quartz?
Unlike natural stone that is cut from pure granite, marble or sandstone, engineered stone (Quartz) is made from quartz crystals held together with a resin binder. Quartz is a non-porous stone that does not need to be sealed like granite or other natural stones.

Quartz is becoming more and more desirable due to the color selection, less movement and less maintenance. Quartz is a very hard material and will last the lifetime of your home. Some engineered stones are made to look like limestone or marble, enabling you to get the natural coloring and texture you want but with better performance.
